Dr. med. Volk specialises in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, in particular the treatment of fractures, joint problems and tendon/ligament/meniscal injuries. The procedures are carried out as far as possible with a minimally invasive or arthroscopic method. The bone fracture treatment uses state-of-the-art, usually angle-stable, titanium implants. An OR team is ready in the event of an emergency in the shortest possible time. Less urgent cases will be considered at short notice in the OP programme.
The emergency surgery/orthopaedic emergency department ensures readiness for urgent cases almost around the clock. Specialist care, a modern X-ray system and ultrasound are available on the weekends as well.
