- Specialist in surgery and trauma surgery
The aim of the Centre is the specialised treatment of injuries, posttraumatic and degenerative deformities and diseases of the lower extremities (hip, knee, ankle, foot), the pelvis (sacroiliac joint) and the spine. The spine and limbs form a functional unit and also influence each other in injuries and illnesses. This interaction is reflected in the Centre’s comprehensive diagnostics and multimodal treatment strategy. At the Spine Centre, injuries and degenerative diseases with deformities of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine are treated conservatively and surgically. Human care plays a decisive role in the holistic treatment concept.
The patient is thoroughly and competently cared for by a doctor, from reception to the admission interview, initial examination, diagnostics, coordination of a treatment concept, surgery, inpatient/outpatient treatment up to the completion of treatment. This fixed allocation and responsibility guarantees the patient a contact person throughout the treatment and minimises information loss.
The experience gained in 3 decades of clinical activity and several thousand surgeries guarantees fast diagnosis, precise, soft-tissue-saving, safe surgical techniques with state-of-the-art instruments and implants and effective, sustainable and sensitive aftercare. Our treatment results are subject to continuous quality control.
At the centre of our efforts is the patient as a person with their own personal needs. We look after our patients in a partnership with openness and empathy in a pleasant, family atmosphere.
Our passionate commitment to the scientific advancement of our field and the intensive exchange with our peers enables continuous improvement of more efficient, patient-oriented processes.
