The Hip Center is directed by Dr. med. Raimund Völker, founding member of ATOS Clinic Munich. Dr. Völker has an extraordinary experience in the field of endoprosthetics at the hip joint. PD Dr. med. Patrick Weber is a renowned specialist in the field of implantation and revision of hip and knee endoprostheses. Through his many years as Head of Hip Arthroplasty and Deputy Head of Knee Arthroplasty at the University of Munich (LMU, Klinikum Großhadern), he has covered the entire field of endoprosthetics even in complex cases of hip dysplasia or post-traumatic arthrosis. Dr. Rembeck heads the Centre for Knee Surgery and Sports Trauma Surgery at ATOS Clinic. The practice offers the entire spectrum of conservative (non-operative) and operative orthopaedics. His specialisation is in the field of sports medicine as well as arthroscopic and open surgical interventions on the musculoskeletal system mainly of the knee joint.

Dr. Rembeck enjoys an excellent reputation in the field of knee surgery and sports trauma surgery and is known for his almost 20 years as a team doctor of the TSV 1860 Munich. Dr. Rembeck has worked for the German Football Association (DFB) as coordinator for orthopaedics, responsible team doctor of the Tennis Davis Cup Team and worked in the surgical team of the German Ski Federation (DSV).

Prof. Gollwitzer is a renowned specialist in the implantation of artificial hip and knee prostheses as well as the entire spectrum of modern joint-preserving hip surgery.
The focus of his clinical and operative activities are the treatment of osteoarthritis of the hip and knee joint, hip joint arthroscopy (hip flexion), minimally invasive and muscle-sparing hip arthroplasty using AMIS technology, and the individualised partial and complete replacement of the knee joint.
